Our core team has worked together since the late 1980s and early 1990s, bringing decades of shared expertise, innovation, and trust to every project. This continuity has been key to our success and our reputation for engineering excellence.

With this solid foundation of experience, the team Richard, Daryl, Bill, Karen and two individuals named Mike, came together to form a new company on June 1st, 2012. We officially rebranded the existing company, TEI Greens, to Greens Combustion Limited, a move that allowed us to fully realize our ideas, vast experience, and comprehensive connections. From the very beginning, the new company quickly gained momentum, taking on more and more phone calls and customer visits.

As a testament to our growth and longevity, we celebrated our 10-year anniversary in 2022, marking a decade of innovation and leadership in our field. We have since grown into a global leader in advanced combustion technology, delivering innovative, efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions to the energy, petrochemical and industrial sectors.

At the heart of our innovation is our state-of-the-art Research and Test Centre in Italy, which features a 40 MW hydrogen firing system and a dedicated ammonia firing unit. These facilities enable us to pioneer low-carbon and zero-carbon combustion technologies, supporting the global transition to cleaner energy.

As a licensed partner of Callidus Technologies, we are able to build on proven expertise while advancing cutting-edge combustion solutions for the future. We are also deeply networked and actively engaged with leading industry bodies, including the American Petroleum Institute (API), the British Flame Research Foundation (BFRF), and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In addition, we work closely with UK Export Finance (UKEF) to support international projects and promote British engineering excellence worldwide.

Obtained ISO9001 as well as commissioned our first of many GreenBurn staged air burner.

2015

Acquired by the HS Group of Companies which included AFG Combustion, expanding engineering resources and gaining access to a 12,000² m manufacturing facility in Gujarat, India.

2018

Delivered and commissioned our first burner turnkey installation project, marking a major step in offering fully integrated combustion solutions.

2023 - 2024

Entered a strategic licensing agreement with Honeywell UOP granting us the rights to offer Callidus burner and flare technologies, along with full aftermarket support across Europe, Africa, India, and parts of Asia.

2025

Extended our testing services to include benchmark Flare-in-a-Box™ flare emissions testing, enabling clients to validate flare performance against the latest environmental standards and regulatory requirements.
